Jeevan Dhara Convent School is located on the outskirts of Lucknow city near Sports College 12 kilometres away from Lucknow railway station. Sr Carmelita Monteiro, the Regional Superior of North Region initiated the process of starting this school and she herself was the First Principal. Classes LKG, UKG, I and II were started in July 1994.

Since the building was under construction, a portion of the convent building served as classrooms. There were 15 students on the first day. Sr Fatima Dias succeeded Sr Carmelita in 1998 and continued the good work of her predecessor of educating the elite as well as the poor in the same School in different shifts. It was now necessary to work for the recognition of the School as the classes reached up to VII in the year 2000. Sr Sangeeth D’Souza who took up the administration on July 5, 2000 had to undertake the herculean task of obtaining a No Objection Certificate from the UP Government.

In 2001 the School obtained the No Objection Certificate. Sr Sangeeth D’Souza, the Principal, was greatly helped and supported by Sr Alice Pinto in getting this Certificate. In the same year it was affiliated to the Council for Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Board, New Delhi. Thereafter in 2006 permission was obtained from the same Board for classes XI and XII (ISC) with Science and Commerce streams. The first batch of students appeared for class XII examination in 2007. Affiliation to this board enables administration from LKG to class XII and the head of the institution is designated as the principal. Thus the Jeevan Dhara Convent School has grown into a full-fledged Pre University College.

Sr Suzie was the Principal from 2010 to 2015. When she was transferred in 2015, Sr. Philomina took charge of Jeevan Dhara Convent School as Principal and works in that capacity till the date. She and her staff work very hard to make the School grow. The School is facing a great challenge in securing students as many schools have come up in the locality. It is the Endeavour of the Sisters and the staff to prepare worthy citizens for the future of the country through the education provided in Jeevan Dhara Convent School.
